Sony's PS5 conference has just wrapped up and with it we got some game previews and a price & release date for Sony's next generation offerings.
The Playstation 5 will be available on sale starting November 12th for US, Canada, UK and November 19th for the rest of the world. Digital only edition will cost $399 and the full physical edition will be $499. So it looks like Microsoft's Series S will be the cheapest entry into next generation at just $299.
Pricing:
Physical edition: $499
Digital only edition: $399 Available: November 12th, 2020
What are your thoughts on the Playstation 5 reveal? Will you be picking one up at launch?
The XBox Series X and rumored Xbox Series S are set to release later this year. However, nothing was mentioned until now. According to Windows Central, a reputable source for Microsoft related leaks, the Xbox Series S, which is a disc-less, all-digital console will be coming out at $299 while the more powerful, beefier hardware & larger form factor Xbox Series X will be launching at $499. Both consoles are set to go on sale worldwide on November 10th, 2020.
Xbox Series S is $299
Xbox Series X is $499
Console Specifications
CPU: 8x Cores @ 3.8 GHz (3.66 GHz w/ SMT) Custom Zen 2 CPU
We know that the release of Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X is now 2 months away with a release for November but it would seem that neither companies are willing to let a price slip at all, cutting it super fine for those who wish to save up ready for the launch.
This seems to be leaving a sour taste in many customers mouths with many worrying that they may not have the funds to purchase the newly released next generation consoles when they release, especially as close to Christmas as their release will be.
It's understandable that both companies would have been holding off on their price announcements due to possibly wanting to undercut the other on a price but with it being so far into 2020 now and a holiday 2020 release guaranteed, it's very much unfair to the customer now at this point.
Are you waiting to hear about a price for either console? How are you feeling about there being no price drop yet?
A new study that has been taken has found that Xbox players are more toxic than Playstation players. Top10Casinos.com were the ones who conducted in the study and found that Xbox players surpassed Playstation players in physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility.
The results that came back were as follows from the study
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has been officially revealed to the world. The game is set to be a direct sequel to the original Black Ops game from 2010. Treyarch and Raven Software have partnered up for this game which will be dropping on November 13th. There is a lot to take away from this trailer, and there are 3 different editions of the game. The game is a cross-generation title and as such one of these editions handles that. Here is the breakdown of editions and what you get with them if you pre-order them:
Standard Edition $59.99 - Early beta access.
Cross Gen Edition - $69.99 - Get the game on both current gen and next gen console of choice at no additional cost. Early beta access.
Ultimate Edition - $89.99 - Everything the cross gen bundle offers as well as 20 battle pass tier skips and a few in-game items for Modern Warfare & Warzone.
The multiplayer reveal will be September 9th. We presume there will be zombies shown off at a glance at the end of this MP...
It's been revealed that the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be set to be revealed worldwide next week on Wednesday August 26th. A teaser trailer was posted up on twitter that confirms this. What can we expect from this reveal on the 26th? Well we're expecting:
Campain reveal
Multiplayer reveal + gameplay
Zombies shown off even if it's brief (probably towards the end of the reveal as a 'one more thing' type deal.
We're pretty confident they'll reveal a beta and a date for the beta, and it will probably be soon, especially if they reveal an October release date.

That's right, if you pre-ordered the upcoming Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1&2 remaster on the PSN or Xbox store you now have access to search for and download the "Warehouse" demo. The demo consists of 1 skater and just the Warehouse level, it's a whooping 5.88GB on xbox one. It looks visually stunning and more importantly, it controls very well, like the games of old on the PS1 and early PS2 days.
We're super excited to get our hands on the full game on September 4th, 2020 with a review to follow shortly after but judging by the 20 minutes we've spent with the demo so far..... 9/10.

Here is the full list of artists featured in the game:
Popular online asian video game retailer has listed the pre-order for the upcoming Playstation 5 hardware at an astronomical price. According to the pre-order page, the price of the upcoming console is going to be a staggering $699.99 USD. A $700 console in 2020? We're pretty sure it's just a placeholder, but what if the console does indeed launch at that? Sony got backlash for the PS3 being $599 back in 2006. Now if they release the PS5 at $699, I don't see them succeeding this upcoming generation. Yes there is an all-digital edition that could be significantly cheaper and more affordable, but not everyone is ready for the all-digital age. What are your thoughts? Are you willing to drop $700 on the Playstation 5 with a disc drive?
It's also important to note that the all-digital model is also listed at $699.99 USD, which makes no sense. We're pretty certain the model without a disc drive will be...

It appears that Call of Duty 2020 has changed it's title yet again. It seems Activision has changed the name from Call of DUty: Black Ops Cold War to simply just Call of Duty: Black Ops. This comes after a leak from PS4patches.com shows that Call of Duty 2020's alpha was leaked on there and the codename for the CoD 2020 title was listed as simply "The Red Door" some data mining have discovered a new logo/graphic for this year's Call of Duty and it's showing it to simply be "Call of Duty: Black Ops" This would fit in line with a previous leak we covered of this being a reboot of the series. It was stated earlier that much like Modern Warfare 2019, this year's game is a reboot of the Call of Duty Black Ops series by Treyarch. Since Treyarch has taken over development from Sledgehammer Games & Raven on this year's project, with both SHG and Raven taking up supporting roles on the title now, it would make perfect sense that this year's Call of Duty title is simply known as Call of...
If you grew up in the 90's and owned a Playstation, you probably at some point played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater or it's sequels. A skateboarding game designed by Neversoft and published by Activision. Well, after Activision ran the series into the ground, they disbanded Neversoft and merged the studio into Infinity Ward. The later THPS games to be released such as Tony Hawk HD and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 was done by another studio, but fear not, it has been confirmed by Tony Hawk himself that they are working with Activision to put out Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1&2 Remastered. One would think it is going to be a full fledged remaster of both games mashed into one, or perhaps they will be 2 separate games. We don't know at this point, all we know is that it (they?) are coming.
Tony Hawk has confirmed it in a video with Jack Black on his youtube channel and Jack was able to play an early build of the game. See the footage below.
After there were major spoilors leaked for the upcoming Last of Us Part 2 by someone from within Naughty Dog, Sony has decided to push up the release date on not only The Last of Us Part 2 but also their upcoming Ghost of Tsushima game. The two new release dates are as follows The Last of Us Part 2 will now be released on June 19th, 2020 and Ghost of Tsushima will follow on July 17th, 2020.
In recent events with what's going on in the world, we see this as Sony's way of doing some form of damage control so that these games aren't spoiled and ruined for the masses. We're okay with these new release dates though! Are you excited to get your hands on either of these games?
The long awaited sequel to popular beat-em-up series Streets of Rage is finally upon us! Streets of Rage 4 will be releasing on April 30th, 2020 on Switch, Xbox One and Playstation 4 respectively. Here is the release date trailer below.
Need the game? You can purchase physical PS4 and Switch copies from our buddies at Limited Run Games.
Who will you be cleaning up the streets with on April 30th? Let us know in the comments below!
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is currently available on the Playstation 4 for $20 as a campaign only download. The iconic multiplayer from 2009 is nowhere to be seen and Xbox/PC players have to wait until April 30th to relive the iconic campaign, but why? Well we have the reason....
According to leaker TheGamingRevolution the real reason the multiplayer is absent from the MW2 remaster despite having been done for years now, is because they changed things within the MP and then decided that players might 'not like the changes' they've made to the core gameplay and overall MP experience. However, if that is the case, why not just revert the changes, or better yet, release a beta test with the changes and obtain community feedback? We might like the changes......and if not, simply revert back to the old build of MP from the remaster.
It would literally be like printing money if Activision was to release Modern...
