Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War reveal trailer and everything we know.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has been officially revealed to the world. The game is set to be a direct sequel to the original Black Ops game from 2010. Treyarch and Raven Software have partnered up for this game which will be dropping on November 13th. There is a lot to take away from this trailer, and there are 3 different editions of the game. The game is a cross-generation title and as such one of these editions handles that. Here is the breakdown of editions and what you get with them if you pre-order them:

Standard Edition $59.99 - Early beta access.
Cross Gen Edition - $69.99 - Get the game on both current gen and next gen console of choice at no additional cost. Early beta access.
Ultimate Edition - $89.99 - Everything the cross gen bundle offers as well as 20 battle pass tier skips and a few in-game items for Modern Warfare & Warzone.

The multiplayer reveal will be September 9th. We presume there will be zombies shown off at a glance at the end of this MP reveal on September 9th. We're expecting beta dates to follow. For now, here is the official reveal trailer of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War.



What are your thoughts? Which edition will you be picking up of the game? It's important to note that it seems next generation games standard price will be $69.99 instead of $59.99 that we've been used to for years.

 

It does look pretty good although I'm not sure if I will be getting it yet. I don't like how the free next upgrade is put as a separate version and we're charged more for it.

I'm sure all Call of Duty titles from now will have cross-play between console and PC. I'm just hoping that we get crossplay between PlayStation and Xbox

 

I kinda want cross-gen cross-play so Xbox One > PS4 > PS5 > Xbox Series X > PC All play together.

 

I'm honestly shocked cod doesn't have a playstation vs xbox lobby just to fume them wars. Then winner vs pc. i Think it would be a fun little event,lol. You know how many headlines this would make? I would actually buy cod day 1 just to do this and i never bought a cod day 1. But back on topic, yeah i want a cross gen and cross play for sure. It keeps the lobbies full. All games should be doing this tbh.

I saw this suggestion a lot for both Warzone and Fortnite Battle Royale. A 50v50 game mode where PS4 and Xbox One players go against each other would be so great!
