Revillution.net users agree not to post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright, trademark or other proprietary right. This includes but is not limited to magazine, book and newspaper scans, television broadcasts and copyrighted photos and pictures.

Advertising is only allowed in your profile and in the site showoff thread once you've reached 50 posts.

Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on Revillution.net. Treat others on these message boards as you would expect them to treat you. Talking trash about another user or posting topics specifically to provoke a negative response from an individual, a group or an entire community is not acceptable on Revillution.net. These posts will be deleted and may result in having the privilege of posting on the boards revoked. Board bashing is also not allowed on the Revillution.net. Please respect the various communities on the Revillution.net system. If another board is not your favorite, there's no need to complain about it. Simply refrain from visiting it. Board bashing posts will be deleted.

Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages to gain more stars is highly frowned upon! This includes such things as party posts, chain letters, two-word "I agree" or "me too" responses, continually posting the same topic on a particular board, and posting the same question across several boards. On a similar note, participating in spam attacks on Revillution.net or planning a spam attack on Revillution.net or any other website is unacceptable, and these actions will be reported to your ISP.

You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. Also, accessing or using someone else's account or attempting to access another poster's account is strictly prohibited. If you engage in this type of behavior, you will be barred from the boards permanently.

Adult material is not allowed to be posted outside of the 18+ only section. If you are caught posting adult material (including but not limited to: pornographic images, literotica, or erotic literature, graphical adult-oriented posts) you will be suspended for 3 days on first offense, a week on 2nd offense and permanently banned on 3rd offense. Keep the adult material inside the adult section. Users must be 18+ years of age and fill out a consent forum via PM to gain access.

If you are caught to have adult access on the Revillution.net and you are not of the legal age of 18, you will be permanently banned from the forums. We are not here to babysit you. NO EXCEPTIONS. We take this seriously and will do anything to protect a child from getting their hands on unsuitable content for their age.

Altering or changing Revillution.net code and/or exploiting code bugs for purposes other than what the forums were intended to do is strictly prohibited. On a similar note, using automatic scripts on any part of Revillution.net is also not permitted. Hacking, altering board code, exploiting code bugs and using scripts are all grounds for an immediate and permanent ban. Although if you just report these to an Administrator we would greatly appreciate it. This also includes gaining name formatting access through unauthorized methods, access to private forums, user accounts, so on and so forth. We treat this rule with HIGH RED-LEVEL PRIORITY. If you are caught attempting to hack the forums, you will be permanently banned, your ISP will be contacted and you WILL be reported. Hacking is a federal crime, you WILL be reported to the FBI and I will see through it that you are dealt with.

Okay, so you probably won't get banned for an off-topic post, but c'mon, try to post suitable subjects on each of the appropriate forums. Don't post about video games in the general discussion area when we have a section dedicated for that. So on, and so forth. Use your head when posting and make sure to post in the appropriate sections.

Just because you know that Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's daddy doesn't mean that everybody does......whoops! Be considerate of the other users who may not have seen a movie or played a game that you're talking about, and don't give away spoilers in subject lines that everyone can read. Simply type [spoiler] before any text that may give away any significant information about the plot and [/spoiler] [spoiler]Use this code....this is a spoiler..[/spoiler].

Out of respect for your modem brethren, please let them know if your thread contains a number of large images. A simple **56kers Beware!** in the subject line will go a long way in helping those who are broadband-challenged know not to open a thread that might bring their web browsing to a crawl. Also, if you must use fake signature pictures, please limit it to one 15k or less image since huge pictures slow down the boards for everyone. We have a resizer in place so it should take care of oversized images but it may not always do it's job, so just be mindful of your image sizes.

Only one user account per user (IP, email address) is permitted here at Revillution.net. If you register multiple accounts, they will be banned accordingly. You are permitted to one account on the site. Multiple account users will be permanently banned from the community. If you have other persons using the same IP address as you such as siblings or spouses using the same computer, please let us know so they are not penalized.

There are far too many possible scenarios for us to cover in the TOS. Just because it isn't specifically named here, doesn't mean it isn't against the rules or can't be deemed against TOS by our staff. Revillution.net reserves the right to make spur of the moment decisions about questionable behavior/posts/content and be taken seriously without argument from user. Staff have final say, end of story. Do not try to fight it, you will lose.
